BISHOP A.G. WELLINGTON

For me, my Christian journey has been about living a life that is most pleasing to the Lord and helping others to do the same by walking in obedience to Christ.

From his humble beginnings in his basement, New Hope has now become a thriving body of believers with a heart for God and God’s kingdom work. Bishop Wellington is passionate about evangelism. He is a gifted teacher, and preacher in the Word of God. He ministers under the anointing in the areas of prophecy, healing, and deliverance. He is highly focused on developing men and women for ministry and entrepreneurship. He strongly believes that every believer should strive to become spiritually mature for the work of the ministry. He and his wife together conduct various biblical training classes, marriage seminars, leadership conferences, and other meetings to build the Body of Christ.

Bishop Wellington has been married to his beloved wife and partner Malynda for over 40 years. They have two great children Quiana, and Anthony who work hard in ministry with them. He is the proud granddad of four Joseph, Brooklynn, Anthony, III and Micah.

For me, my Christian journey has been about living a life that is impactful, encouraging, and inspiring to others so that I can demonstrate the goodness and love of God that has been imparted to me.

Pastor Malynda Wellington is a native of Maywood, IL. She is an ordained associate pastor, teacher, and co-founder of New Hope Christian Center. She has faithfully served in ministry for over 30 years alongside her husband Bishop A. G. Wellington. Pastor Malynda is called to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ, and to extend God’s wonderful love to others. She is passionate about deliverance, teaching and preaching the uncompromised Word of God. She has hosted bible study meetings, retreats, conferences and other events designed to inspire and empower people to live an abundant life in Christ. She is a committed intercessor who strongly believes that effectual fervent prayer changes lives and outcomes. She is also passionate about helping men and women especially overcome the soul damage of sexual abuse through powerful biblical teachings, personal truths, and acceptance of one’s true identity.

She has been married to her love and partner Anthony for over 40 years. She is the proud mother of two adult children Quiana and Anthony, II who faithfully serve in the ministry with them. She is also a doting grandmother of four beautiful grandchildren Joseph, Brooklynn, Anthony, III and Micah.
